INTRODUCTION OF THE LABORATORY

In the Electric Powertrain Testbench Laboratory is able to test electrical machines on different power levels. The high-performance testbench can currently be tested with a measuring range of 250 Nm and 4000 rpm (by brake machine, but this range can be modified with a gearbox). On the low-power testbench can perform drive tests up to 5 kW in the range of 100 Nm and 800 rpm. It is also possible to perform other task-dependent tests on the own developed testbench systems.

INTRODUCTION OF THE EQUIPMENTS

Insulation testing equipment	- test voltage: 0,5; 1; 2,5 and 5kV	Phase winding tests on electrical machines (ASM, PMSM, DC) to check if the varnish layer on the windings is sufficiently insulated.
Milliohmmeter	- 100µΩ-2000Ω	Resistance measurement of electrical machine windings.

OTHER PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES/DEVELOPMENTS

Testing of electronics driving high power electrical machines (~200kW) of own design and construction. Testing and operation of battery monitoring systems (active and passive BMS) of own design and construction.
